I bought the pro version and I have NEVER gotten it to work at all! I feel like I’ve been scammed! And when you hit the help email it doesn’t contain an address to send complaints to! I’m furious at these people. You scam this hard with a broken app just to steal $5 from me??? You’re insane.
The only thing that works in this app is the nag to buy Audible and the limitations on the number of books you can read...the latter without actually downloading the books in question! Though it did manage to download two random other books from the source in question, and duplicate one of the sample public domain books. It was unable to actually read a book aloud, however (which I’m researching on behalf of my mother). And not only doesn’t it do anything more than iBooks does, it doesn’t even do THAT. But hey, you can buy the “pro” version to do nothing even more extensively! It’s not user failure; I’m an experienced user and in fact programmer. And it’s not reluctance to pay five bucks for the “pro” version; when I find the right app, I’ll be buying my mom an iPad to run it on, too. This thing just plain doesn’t work.
I thought it would be a great app so I could listen to all the books I have while I’m driving, I spent five dollars on it and it won’t listen to one book I have downloaded on my iPhone. Maybe I’m using wrong or something, but there’s no instructions
