Draconius GO: Catch a Dragon!

I am level 22 and was enjoying the game until the recent updates made it less appealing. For starters, when using the dragon eyesight, which cost 500 coins, you would be able to catch all creatures inside and outside the rift of arcana. Now since the recent update, it does not allow you to see creatures in the rift when using dragon eyesight, rendering it completely useless inside the rift. Why spend 500 coins in the first place to be able to catch creatures outside the rift, and only crappy ones like frog and spirits and pots? This totally takes away all the fun in being able to use the dragon eyesight. Also, before if you have a spell you are willing to share with others, it would allow you to do so irregardless of who would use the gems for the recipe. Now if only one friend contributes, then they will only have the benefit and not you. This means if you are able to put up a rift of arcana with a friend s stones, then only your friend will be able to see the rift and use it. Sadly, I was happy to spend money on this game before, but now with the recent changes, it has made doing so totally worthless. Don’t waste your money on this game unless u want to catch all common creatures and nothing else. Stuff is way to expensive in the game store and now you don’t get the whole benefit of using said items. BEWARE. This game is not worth the time anymore. I got jipped by not getting full benefits from 2 dragon eyesights I used. Needless to say, if this game doesn’t bring back the improvements that once made it fun to play, I will find a different game elsewhere to invest my money.

I've been playing PoGo basically since it's launch and I've been really disappointed and lost motivation to play for multiple reasons. The only thing that kept me playing once you complete the dex was Gyms, then they destroyed the gym system....the mons are so nerfed theres no strategy or typing or need for territory so none of it even matters anymore. Raids were fun at first but quickly got boring too. So as a previously committed level 39 player, I have moved on to try something new! Just started this so I can give a fair comparison to all the features but beyond having what seems to be all the same stuff as PoGo, this game has a couple big additions! The first being that rural play from my home exists! I don't have to drive 3-5 miles to find a stop or a gym. The biggest thing though are the quests and treasure hunts, this is a great way to keep players engaged and I can see this keeping me playing once I've caught all the monsters or get burned out on gyms etc.....unlike PoGo, so I think this is a huge step up!

The game is good. It has some neat features, it has some nice items, it has some nice concepts and I like the variety. But the reason I rate it two stars, for now at least, is it lacks encounters and overall entertainment value in some aspects. Sure you have the treasures and the obelisks and arenas and stuff but one key feature is the monsters. I know their spacing algorithm somewhat made an even playing ground for both rural and city players. But I fear whatever core numbers they use need to be raised. I can be on the game and walk for over a mile on the city streets and I run into 1 maybe 3 monsters. Sure I hit pillars of abundance and stuff like that but it’s not the same as running into monsters. More frequent monster spawning is a must. Also the wild monster attacks is a fantastic feature. But there are times where the CP difference is just insane. Perhaps the ability to switch out monsters if you encounter a monster with such a vast difference in CP might be something to add. I mean if I have a level 215 CP creature and I am attached by a level 383 CP monster, what’s the point? So for now it gets two stars. Like I said the main aspect of this game is going out to catch your monsters. But when you have such low spawn rates it makes the game a simple augmented reality game where you spin pillars or travel areas to dig up treasure.
