I really like this app. I used to use another app but it didnโt really sync between devices and I could only add one account. I like that I can budget for any account like credit cards too or savings. I also like the categories and how you can have subcategories like a food category and also a groceries and restaurant subcategory individually. Helps keep everything really organized. It would be nice if I could do a recurring purchase for like every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc instead of having to make recurring weekly purchases individually but thatโs not too big of a deal. The only real negative is itโs sometimes slow when I first load up the app and when I go in to confirm recurring purchases have hit my account. It does it on my iPad mini and my iPhone 13 so I donโt think itโs my devices. It would be nice if it was a little more seamless but it doesnโt bother me that much. Hopefully they fix that but really good app if you can get past that! And worth the $5 a month to me. ๐ **UPDATE** It does look like the app is more seamless and faster now. Idk if it was on their end or maybe my internet at the time but changing my review from 4 to 5. Definitely worth the $5 a month. Thank you all for creating my dream budgeting app!!! Iโve been looking for something like this for years! ๐โค๏ธ
I started using kualto in 2018 and at this point Iโd be lost without it! It helped me keep my eyes on the prize to buy my house in 2021, and is now helping me save to do improvements. I am not an abstract thinker when it comes to money, and the forecaster helps me see the long term implications of spending today. I need that positive or negative reinforcement every day to help me make good financial choices-and sometimes the good choice is splurge! Kualto has really made me feel in control of my choices and their consequences when it comes to money. And at $60/yr I have to just keep my mouth shut when my friends talk about the cost of YNAB or in-person budgeting services. The Kualto psychology works for me.
I love this app, read all the reviews, it does everything youโve been looking for to forecast budgeting and balances and making sure youโre not lateโฆ. But why canโt it just have the option to be a stand alone app with a one time purchase? I donโt want or need to sync and access across the web onto computers. No log in or password. Itโs a simple spend down budget with graphs, just the app on my phone is perfect. But a subscription for $50 a year? Forever? Wish there was a tier to simply buy the app outright, period. Donโt need another subscription in my life. *Also- seeing as how Iโm going to have to pay it anyway, I do need this - my suggestion is to be able to see more than one week at a time. The option to see the whole month or many months in one scrolling page as opposed to arrowing through the weeks up too would be great.
