DigiD

I have been trying to scan my ID from the Netherlands for about a week with NO LUCK. I have tried several ways. It says I am connected and to wait while it finish s loading but stops at 12%. After. re-do it, I get a message or that says “It's not possible to perform the ID check with your current identity document” It is VERY frustrating. I CANNOT call because I have no international calling/texting/cannot receive very fixation codes since I am from America. For now (after trying 1hr), I give up. I will try to find another solution by googling or snap gpting my way. I STILL CANNOT UPLOAD MY IDENTIFICATION CARD. My phone is set up for all and still NO LUCK. I don’t know who to turnt to. I cannot recieve phone codes through text and no phone calls. I have been ligging in and out with no luck

Dear DigiD Programmers & Institutions using this App Service, There are a plethora of functions which don’t run. Logging in is a frustrating hassle. As well, changing your phone number is impossible. The app crashes constantly. The best recommendation is for the designers to trash the DigiD app, and start over again with all of the malfunctions in mind; and/or all the websites and institutions that require the DigiD app services must switch to a new and improved app other than DigiD which actually works. SMS activation worked but my (Dutch) driving license was not easily recognized for ID check. I had to hold it against the top edge of the iPhone 7 Plus.
