Actually I gave it five star days before, for the first time it found the duplicates I would like it to find. But don’t know why apple deleted my reviews. And after times using it, I found it’s could be better. Yes, it find the duplicates that in same name or(and) even different file name, that the content is duplicate! This really make sense for me a forgetful mother.
However, it could be better, the features that I wish it could add in next upgrade:
1. Could deselect the file folders when I select the wrong folder for scanning. Not remove all the folders!
2. Please add the option of deleting the duplicate files based on creation date, since I would like to keep the latest one.
Anyways, thanks and it deserves four star.

I bought the paid versions of this. This program helped me do HOURS of work in literally 3 clicks, 3 seconds. I had a ton of duplicated files, some even having multiple, but the duplicates were different file sizes and different resolution images, so all the other programs I tried weren't even detecting them as dupes. This program did. And it let me select the smaller versions of each file (leaving the largest of each), and I was able to delete over 2000 duplicates in a few clicks. WELL WORTH THE 20 BUCKS!

Got the app to use it on some image folders. It keeps saying that almost all images in that folder are duplicates of each other, which is clearly not true. (For example, in a folder of 2000 images 1996 or so are supposed to be similar enough to be deleted. That's in a folder that includes gifs, images of black text on a white background, full color illustrations, etc.) I get similar results whether I set it to 98% image similarity or 7% image similarity. It's just unusable. I'm running Big Sur on a mid-2014 macbook, if that makes a difference-- but the app's website says the program was updated fairly recently, so I don't know what the problem could be. Other duplicate finder apps I've tried have worked fine-- they've missed some things, but they haven't tried to claim that every image in the folder is actually the same image. I don't get it.
