Interchange - eBook Converter

I needed a few books converted that I only had in epub format, but wanted to read on my kindle Paperwhite at the beach (sun and water and the iPad don’t mix, obviously). Since I didn’t have access to a laptop, I scrounged around the App Store for a solution and stumbled upon this and several others... since this was free and had better reviews than most, I took a gamble. I will say it’s chock full of advertising, which you’d expect with a free app, but it did the job converting my epubs to mobi and did it quickly. It’s not exactly intuitive, and some of it isn’t in English. The conversion itself didn’t take any time, but figuring out how to get the converted book to my kindle took some fiddling. So did trying to close out of some of the ads, which had those gawdawful timers on them. It’s easy to put in kindle, just not readily apparent. Am considering either upgrading this app or buying this persons other, premium app. I have zero idea on what the differences between the two apps might be, but I’d be willing to spend a few bucks just to make the advertising go away.

Just trying but nice visuals. Worked on an ePub. Not an easy procedure, but follow steps logically (move a book to file folder - on apple mobile devices; from there you can import into the app. Select book and at bottom choose, if wanting a Kindle ok version .mobi. You are asked a question about reminding you to look in the apps converted folder and then continue. Watch an ad & x when you see one to go back to app. A question about giving praise is asked. If you do, app works if not, it did not! Then you open in kindle somehow & I thought only a few pages downloaded. Give it time then go to location in the menu - left side- & our in last number of book location you see. Text appears. I did it a few time in different locations, & eventually it was all there). May have missed something to share, but now happy. I can use my Kindle to read outside!!!

Converts my epubs to mobi on my iPad so I can send books to my Kindle when away. It isn't sending the cover of the book, so I need to figure out if I can do that.
