Wooden 100 Block Puzzle Game

Love this app. It’s become my go to app for mindless distraction while waiting or winding down. I would have given it 5 stars but I found that the app constantly freezes on my iPhone 7. It happens so often now that I have to kill the app completely to restart it, or iOS it self kills it for now responding after 10 seconds. And then there are the ads. OMG… way too many ads! There are banner ads that ate intentionally placed tightly against the controls to sometimes capture stray taps. It also forces ads any time focus changes to another app, or a pop up notification appears, etc. Then there are ads that are forced after a preset time. A large number of them are the full 30 sec ads with no way to skip them, which is really a super buzz kill when you are in the middle of playing. And I get it, developers need to make money from “free” apps by pushing lots and lots of ads. But this is too extreme.

I enjoy this game but I can get obsessed with it. The only thing I wish they had was the high overall score so I can beat it! Update: I can't put this game down. I keep wanting to better my game without any additional bonus pieces. The best I have gotten is 5963. I don't know if that is even a good game. I wish you would show the highest score in one game so we have even more end incentive to beat that score. Update: I am still obsessed with this game and now my high score is 9852. I started playing the octagon game and have managed to get over 5000 but it is much more difficult than the square game. Well I have been playing the last game and I am totally addicted. I wish I knew what the high game score was. Mine is 166,00

While this game is very entertaining, charming, and highly addictive for those who enjoy puzzles and exercising their mind, the ads are absolutely ridiculous. I do understand that everyone wants to represent their game, and that’s great! But with every button you click you should expect to experience an ad that is about 20+ seconds long with extremely loud sound effects and music. Sometimes, the ads are for the very game you’re playing. Others, it’s for games with literally the same concept such as pulling pins out of the way to get a character out of a bad situation. And the worst part is that none of these ads actually show real gameplay. It even showcases their little effort put into a game by forcing you to wait another 10+ seconds through a mini game that shows how bad the graphics really are. And, occasionally, you can’t even exit out of the ad without it taking you to the App Store to their page. Even if you press “done” and then the little x at the top, it’ll take you back there, and you have to close out the game completely, clear your history, then come back. However, if you can be patient with the absolutely annoying and constant ads, you will most definitely enjoy yourself while you play this game. It’s very satisfying to build up multiple rows and clear them all at once. The sound effects are a little repetitive, but it doesn’t matter, that’s not the point behind the game! I would recommend it if you have a lot of patience.
