So the app is great and all I’m able to access my cameras with very short loading time I never have a problem getting notifications and the camera recording but it is quite frustrating having to open each file picture or video up individually when they could make it so that you could simply have a single photo opened and swipe either left or right to view the next picture and or video. Also, you half to open every picture or video to see a preview of the file which takes up more time than needed. Everything could be pre-loaded with a preview already displayed. All in all, it is an OK app with a lot of potential if the creator just took a little more time.

I’ve had a couple of these now. They are kind of you get what you pay for. My old camera just started going blank you could hear a little sound mixed with static but no picture. My most recent complaint is that motion detection stopped working and when playing back video from the sd card you can’t skip through footage easily. It happened after an update and I have no idea if there is a setting or it is just a bug from the update. I haven’t had any problems with crashes. They have been okay for what I wanted them for but not the best if you really want a good security camera.

It worked fine at first but after about a month the software would not connect to the camera. You can fix this by deleting the camera in the app and reconnecting but that only works for about a week or so until it disconnects again and is then unable to connect no matter what (until you delete the camera and reconnect it again and again and again). The camera I have this app for is ok. It’s a clock camera but the numbers are blurry and impossible to read from further than 1 foot away which means it is in fact conspicuous. The microphone does not work well at all. After about a month I noticed a significant delay in the live video feed to the point where if someone broke into my house they could easily game the footage to hardly appear in it if they moved quickly enough past the camera. With all this being said, if the software is working properly and the camera is functioning then it does work as a security camera but you’re better off paying the same amount for a much better camera and software for a non-hidden security camera.
