I love this game and I really want to give it 5 stars, but the English translation completely unintelligible. If the puzzles weren’t so intuitive, there would be no way I could actually play this game because these were the initial instructions: “the basic concept of the game is to draw a hidden picture as watching the number on the left and top of the quadrangle on which the picture appears” I eventually figured it out (the graphics were helpful) but if someone could get around to fixing that, that would be awesome. Otherwise a beautiful game that I love playing

I really love this game. The gameplay is simple to get a grasp of, and gets more challenging as you go. It isn’t something you have to devote a lot of attention to, but something to do with your hands while doing something else. It provides the option to play in two modes, one that’s like a game where if you make mistakes you lose hearts, and one where you don’t have to worry about making mistakes, but don’t know if you’re doing it right until the puzzle is completed. In addition to the gameplay, there is a nice little overarching story that you get to see completed at the end. At the beginning, I didn’t know why the moon was getting more and more covered in flowers, though it was still satisfying to see, but when I found out through the story it was even more satisfying. The translations of the story into english aren’t perfect, but it’s still easily understandable, and almost adds to the charm a little bit, especially the things the little moonkeeper can say whenever you open up the game. It was truly enjoyable and satisfying to finish due to the story, and I love that the developers were able to make it more than just an app of separate puzzles. Bringing it all together with a story really sets this app above other picross/nonogram games.

I’ve played a lot of picross style of games, and in terms of pure gameplay, this is one of the best. No artificial limits on the number of levels, intuitive design, and a “health” system that gives consequences to just random guessing. The translation is not great, and it could prove confusing to a new player to this style of puzzle game, but I think you probably could figure it out and the puzzles are a bit on the easier side. But those complaints are minor and wouldn’t motivate me to do a review. No the real problem is that the game will periodically play an ad after beating a level. Which, fair, it’s hardly unusual and the game is completely free. But the problem is the ads almost always play sound, even if your phone is on silent. The ads usually only last five seconds and have a mute button you can hit, but it still plays sound until you hit it. It’s highly distracting and annoying. Otherwise I’d easily give this a higher rating.
