I LOVE this devotional app with all the different elements of scripture, meditation, contemplation, prayer, worship and going deeper. Been using this app off and on for many years cycling through it among other things I use for my personal time with the Lord. Back again at the start of 2024! I wanted to provide some feedback on one specific thing that continues to create some frustration and that is with the timing of the lyrics in the worship portion of the videos. The lyrics seem to show up on screen right on time with the music. Which seems completely fine if you are just watching and listening. However, if you want to sing along out loud with the music being played, it doesn’t fully allow the user to know what words are coming next in time order to sing along out loud smoothly with the music being played. If the words on screen showed up slightly before the music with each verse, and more verses were added together on screen at one time, one could fully engage with the music being played with more flow when choosing to sing along. Simply an observation that I know would make my worship experience that much more engaging!!! That would truly make it a 5 star experience for me! Thank you for all you do!!!

I came across First 15 through a devotion in the You Version Bible App. A friend encouraged me to use the audio when going through the devotions each day. This made a huge difference to my time spent in prayer and devotion. The ability to listen and / or read is very effective for me. The music is soothing and the TONE of each devotion is perfect and makes way for prayerful reflection. Each week we are invited to explore a different THEME which can inspire deeper study in the Bible. The GUIDED PRAYER helps me center my thoughts for the devotion each day and helps me journal and identify areas for spiritual and personal growth. MUSIC is a big part of my prayer and the songs selected to accompany each days reflection enhances the experience and breaks the word open even further. Each devotion is TIMED just long enough for you to reflect each day even when you don’t have a lot of time. This is probably the best devotion / prayer element I have come across in a long time. It is TIMELY, RELEVANT, PEACEFUL, THOUGHT PROVOKING AND EFFECTIVE.

I am so thankful for this app! It has absolutely transformed my morning routine and has pushed me in my walk with God. The resources and devotionals are thought out, intentional, and well written. Such a beautiful community of members on the app! What I have found that I like better about this devotional app compared to others that I’ve used, is that you can search key terms/words and find specific devos. This is super helpful depending on what season I am in or if I am trying to send one to a friend. Definitely recommend trying if you feel encouraged to use a morning devotional to grow your walk and relationship. ** Unfortunately, this new update has prevented me from opening the app on my IPhone. It shows that everything is working but shuts me out instead of loading. I have tried deleting and re-downloading as well as resetting my phone. Nothing has worked... I’ve resorted to trying to navigate through their website. Hopefully this bug/glitch gets fixed soon!
