Don’t use the Saloniki app! I ordered on the app, showed up 30 minutes later after walking there, and they told me they didn’t have what I ordered. Because I used the app they also said they couldn’t refund me until later. I said I wanted to be refunded or have something in writing saying I would be, and a back and forth ultimately led to them taking my phone and email down and saying someone from their “computer team” will get in touch with me and refund me later tonight. I used to go here once or twice a week, decided to try their app today, but wont be going here anymore. How hard is it to void a transaction or just refund the customer with cash if you can’t do it via your own app?
I have ordered using this app at both Cambridge and Fenway stores. I probably used this 5 times and I got my food on the estimated time only once. For the other 4 times, I was told that they completely forgot my order and they will start making it now. Or they will start to make it since I “checked in” — basically meaning that they didn’t check the order system, which violates the whole purpose of using the app. I have wasted so much time just standing there and waiting for food. The app either needs a better reflection of actual processing time or the employees need better training. Anyways just don’t use the app — walk in to the store, line up, and 80% of time you will get your food faster than ordering via this app.
Wanted no sauce.
