We are one of the original customers and I can assure you greed and outsourcing has obliterated the integrity of this service. They will not do anything to help us with faulty equipment unless we pay 300% more than what we’re paying now. That is NOT an exaggeration, I promise! We have been working on remedying the problem and the only time we can talk with a representative is AFTER 8 pm. There are no normal business hours for US customers. Then there’s this horrible app! It will not play back video, there is just a spinning wheel, then a message that the video is not ready yet…a video from TEN hours ago! How on earth is it not ready yet?!! And that message pops up for ALL videos! You can not connect (live) to a camera in a timely manner - it takes 30 seconds in some instances! I’m not sure where the disconnect is - the app or the service, but either way it’s unacceptable. Please do yourself a favor & choose a different service! This one has unfortunately turned to complete garbage. And when I say unfortunately - I mean it because when we first got our system, it was the absolute best, top of the line. We are gifting ourselves a new system for Christmas!

This review is about the app only. Since the last update the app has not been working correctly. After an event is viewed, upon return to the main menu, the layout is disorganized and and does not return to proper display. A feature called “Load More” which was added in the last update only works on the current date. If there is an important event from the previous day or days one might need for evidence, it is currently not retrievable. The “Load More” feature does not work for previous days and is useless. Before the last update, the app was simple and efficient to use and worked flawlessly. Now it is very frustrating to use. I have called Deep Sentinel multiple times over the past several months to report the issues. Each time I was told the engineers were working on it and that a fix would be included in a future update. Still the issues persists. *UPDATE* The app is finally updated and fixed. The functionality and ease of use is what I have experienced before and come to expect. Thank you Deep Sentinel!

After installing the DeepSentinel system for a client, and having it running for around 1.5-2 years now, DeepSentinel has earned a three star rating. The service was excellent in the beginning, and guards would intervene on trespassers very often, and call the police often as well. As time went on, however, guards would simply look at trespassers on the property and do nothing about the crime being committed; they'd just review the footage and allow illegal acts to continue to be performed. When a client pays $1,000 / year for a security system subscription PLUS $1,500 for a camera system, you would expect the guard intervention integration to be perfected. Pros:- Siren, 2 way audio, and video footage work decently well. Video quality could be better.- Cameras support 2.4GHz network connection for longer distances the Hub cannot reach. - Live guards (when they intervene) scare off trespassers effectively.- Company's communication is decent.Cons:- Cameras are expensive, yet cheaply made and three have gone bad in the span of 2 years (replaced for free, still inconvenient.)- Cameras disconnect often even though they are less than 25-50 feet away.- Cameras often disconnect from 2.4 GHz network and by default revert back to Hub connection. - Camera mounts are cheaply made and break sometimes right out of the box, requiring a replacement.- Guards do not intervene barely at all anymore, even though the property is always closed.- Guards ignore trespassers frequently, even from multiple camera angles. - Video quality is poor.- App functionality is poor.- When going back 6-7 months prior to search old footage, app crashes.- AI deterrent turns itself off on its own every week or so.- Camera speakers break and require replacement. - Most of the programming / coding for the system is done in Taiwan.
