This game is almost exactly the same as another game that this company CURRENTLY still has on the app store. And when I say that, I don't mean "they took their concept and copied it" or "they recycled some assets from the previous game." I mean that they just took their own game, updated it, and put it on the app store as a new game entirely. The only changes to the actual game are that they made it easier to get a perfect rating (the game was a lot less forgiving before), swapped out the music, added a new recipe book, increased all the wait times to incentivize using gems, and added a character with a simple movement loop on the main page. You know, things that warrant an update patch rather than an actual full new game. That said, in the update, they not only made it mandatory to buy everything over again, but also didn't do a good job of making sure all the bugs were fixed. In the second cookbook, there's a recipe (steak parmigiana) where it's literally impossible to get higher than an 88%, because of a bug with the time. The game doesn't give you enough time, but also tacks all that extra time onto the very next step (which is why I'm positive it's a bug rather than an oversight). The small glitch seems like a simple fix, but the company hasn't bothered fixing it... or making any updates to the game after two years. That said, having replayed the original just recently, I can say that, despite all its flaws, this is the superior version. I'd pass up on this game, if only because of how shameless of a quick cash grab it is.
I think the game is really fun, except I think they should give more time on the green salad recipe for slicing the tomato and onion. It goes so fast!!!They should also give you more gems to start of with.Otherwise I think the game is fun and cool.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I feel like it is impossible to get anything other than "bad" or "fail" in the steak parmigiana recipe when you dip the steak into the mix. I have gotten perfect on every recipe, and I can't get the fourth star on this. I go at my normal speed for most recipes when dipping it in the mix (which I always get "perfect" on), and I always get "bad". Please either show proof it's possible, or fix it, as I really want to get every star in the game!
