This free app is probably the best meditation app in the Appstore I've ever used, but it would be even greater if the developers added statistic chart feature to let the users to track their progress more easily and with pleasure, like they did in Forest App by Seekrtech. And furthermore, I know some people get nervous when the bells ring at the end, and so that'll spoil their meditation session, so please add a feature so that it'll be playing, for example, like waterfall sound or forest rain sound or waves sound, for the entire meditation session, and when the sound stops, it'll notify the meditator that their session has ended. But all in all, Truly Amazing and and of highest-quality app

Đây là ứng dụng hữu ích và ưa thích nhất của tôi. Tôi thường nghe pháp các bài Thầy giảng và thực hành theo hàng ngày. Tất cả các bài tôi đã down về nên dù ko có Internet tôi vẫn nghe pháp dc. Tôi đã xoá hết các trang mạng xã hội chỉ còn để lại có SMP.

Đây là một ứng dụng thiền tập vô cùng tốt và hữu ích cho những người học thiền, và lại hoàn toàn miễn phí trên tinh thần pháp thí của Đạo Phật. Sadhu! Sau 1 tuần sử dụng, tôi vô cùng thích một chức năng của ứng dụng, đó là nó hiển thị những mẩu thiền ngữ trước khi tôi toạ thiền. Tôi rất thích có những lời nói gây cảm hứng cho tôi mỗi lúc ngồi thiền như vậy, như một đoạn của Kinh Pháp Cú chẳng hạn, và sẽ thật hoan hỷ nếu như tác giả của ứng dụng này có thể để người dùng như tôi tự thêm và sửa những mẩu thiền ngữ trên để có thể phù hợp với bản thân của mỗi người. Nhưng chung quy lại, đây là một ứng dụng di động hết sức tuyệt vời và có ý nghĩa, mang lại lợi lạc cho rất nhiều người. Tôi xin chân thành vô cùng cảm ơn các tác giả.

Saigon Meditation Project mobile app is a free app for everyone with library of dharma talks, and some suggested guided meditation and relaxation scripts. Most of the content is from Sayadaw U Jotika’s teaching. Please note that in order to seriously learn and practise Vipassana meditation, you need to attend formal classes with meditation masters. All the information shared in this app should be only your pure source of reference, inspiration and motivation in order for you to find your mindfulness way, the one and only one way to completely liberate your mind from suffering.
If you can regularly practise short relaxation sessions (10-20 minutes) each day, it would certainly let your mind rest in the most effective manner. That’s when your mental energy is refilled, re-charged, and renewed. You can directly experience those benefits by yourself. That would encourage you to invest more into relaxation and Vipassana meditation by attending formal meditation classes with official guidances from meditation masters. For Vipassana tradition, you can look up Theravada meditation centers nearby and see if you can find suitable retreats there to attend.
Besides those dharma talks and guided scripts, SMP app also provides meditation bells with different time intervals, as well as the reminder bells in between. It’s useful for meditators to use at home.
