GPS Fields Area Measure Map

This is a great, user-friendly app for quickly and accurately measuring geographical surface area (and distances if that were the application of the information). To me, this would be a must have tool for small to medium size farmers for, general or building construction contractors, turf management pros, or honestly anyone who needs quick and FREE access to civilian GIS data with a GREAT built in measurement functionality. My favorite aspect of the application is the manual surface area selection tool, which grants the user to be as precise with their area selection areas as necessary for their specific needs. This type of manual selection function is being utilized in several telematics and farm management applications via apple or google maps, but is essentially unknown by the general public or those who do not regularly “think outside of the box” for how to make life easier. The possibilities are quite limitless for the application of this application. The only thing I can quickly think of that might be beneficial for those that know how to move and layer data would be to have a quick display of Lat/Lon coordinate data as you places manual area selection points, or a tool that allowed you to drop pins within a selected area that tagged this information (and maybe a fancy table generator that spit out a list after creating an area selection). Awesome job to whoever put this app together and made it FREE!
