This app do not think about customers, they think about their benefits alone, jumia food demanded to pay my food before delivery, I paid and after sometime jumia send me gmail that they cancelled my order, I placed this order on 12th December, jumia food has taken my money and hasn’t refund me, I talked to customer service several times but it seems they really stole from me, it’s a pity how your service is so poor, I won’t recommend jumia food to anyone, you can steal from customers to build up your company, if jumia cancelled order then why not refund money as soon as order is cancelled, jumia food is trash, you place an order and they later cancel the order and take your money

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Jumia app, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I placed an order, paid for services, and eagerly anticipated the delivery. However, to my dismay, the service was canceled without any reasonable explanation. What's more disheartening is the lack of alternatives provided. Instead, I was informed that a refund would be initiated within 3-7 days. Imagine the inconvenience of being left without the service I paid for and no clear resolution in sight. This situation becomes even more critical when considering that, for some users, this might be their last bit of money. What if this was the dinner they were looking forward to, and now they are left hungry and without alternatives? Customer service should not just be about processing transactions but also about understanding and addressing the real-life impact of these transactions on individuals. This experience has left me questioning the reliability of the Jumia app and its commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Jumia to improve its customer service, communication, and provide better alternatives when services are canceled. Users should feel confident that their money is well-spent, and in situations like these, they need more than vague promises of refunds. Disappointed, ADEKUNLE.

Your service does not deserve a one star, it’s a one star too many. The only good thing about your App is to order; after that everything goes downhill. I have made a total of 3 orders from your app and my experiences have been nothing to write home about. I have complained to your useless chat handler on the app, and was asked to send a mail for services paid for and not rendered. If that was all I had left, I would have died of hunger because after 3 mails there has been no response just automated messages acknowledging my mails.
The last experience was a joke. I made an order to be delivered at 11am, delivery guy calls that he has been in a minor accident and would be on his way after attending to himself. He calls back an hour later that he had arrived. He actually brought a delivery of rice that has scattered all over the nylon with little or nothing left in the bowl. And he asked if I would collect it. It was a messy sight, as anyone could imagine. He promised to get another bowl delivered. Meanwhile I had called Jumia customer care, I had tried chatting and later wrote several emails. Till this moment, I have received no food, no call back, no response to my email and no refund. Shame on you! Please refund my N1300.
