Usit: On-Demand Babysitting

The flexibility of “last minute” jobs is great for parents, but it’s awesome for me as a college student. My schedule varies a lot from week to week. Sometimes I need to go into the lab on an unexpected day for research or I have an exam that I’ll need extra time to study for. Sometimes a professor only wants to meet for office on a particular day of the week. With jobs that have scheduled shifts that repeat weekly, it was impossible for me to keep a consistent shift because of my changing schedule. If you suddenly realize your schedule is open, Usit has the benefit of allowing you to take a job the very next or even same day. Besides, Usit pays way more than most other jobs for college students and every parent I have met on the app has been extremely kind!! I would completely recommend it!

I really enjoy sitting for Usit :) I’ve had over 50 jobs and everyone has been nothing but sweet. Usit should give the sitters a long enough notice before parents accept I mean I’ve had jobs accept me 40 minutes before it starts even though it’s manageable it’s not to fair for the sitters I’ve learned not to plan anything until the job disappears from my application tab. Like any other app it does glitch at times but it is always being handled in a very timely matter . Some parents have complained to me about not being able to change the age of their children so I’d suggest looking into that but the main thing is all of the sitters are safe , all of the families are respectful, and it’s such an easy simple payment process that allows us college students to earn extra money in a safe way :) i love Usit ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As a college student this is the best way to have extra money when you are just hanging around on a weekend. All the families I work with are so sweet! The only issue I have with Usit is that it should require parents to accept students for the job with at least 2 and a half hours before it starts. There’s been numerous times where I’m just sitting and looking at my phone for an hour before the job starts wondering if the parent is going to accept the job or something else. Usit should also allow students to pick more than one job for a day within the same time frame for higher chances of getting jobs- so if a student were to apply for two jobs the same day/time- the first job to accept automatically cancels the second pending job.
