Reviews: What People Think About DawgNation - Georgia Bulldogs
Paul Griffith
Rating: 5/5
I’m just getting the iPad app after reading DawgNation articles only via other apps. It seems like nearly all of the Georgia Bulldogs articles which I find most interesting come from DawgNation, so I decided to go this route. I hesitated when I saw the 3-1/2 stars for reviews, and it seems that the lower ratings had to do with the app’s performance rather than content or organization. Well, today the app loads and changes pages seamlessly. I’ve jumped around quite a bit, scrolled down some lengthy articles with plenty of photos, and followed some links from within articles. Perhaps some work has been done since those low ratings were given? Consistently, everything is running very smoothly — very nice app!

Dawgnation does a great job covering Georgia Bulldog football. It is such a professional site. The Dawgnation Daily podcast hosted by Brandon Adams is something I look forward to every day. He is such a talented host and they have great guests like John Stinchcomb, Terence Edwards, and Jake Fromm every week and others periodically. The beat writers are top notch. You get a load of knowledge from Mike Griffith and Connor Riley. And Jeff Sentell give you the inside scoop on recruiting. I highly recommend this site. There are a lot of great sites that cover Georgia Football but Dawgnation is the top one. It’s a must have for Bulldog fans. Go Dawgs!

Love Love Love Dawg Nation but the new mobile app typically forces users to scroll down and dig for the most recent articles, and, on top of that, it doesn’t show a visible date on the articles. The content is organized by individual author/their column and not by how recent the content was published. This is a mistake. When we open the app we see the same top-of-page article for several days instead of the site’s most recent article (which most of the time we have to dig for). This is the opposite of the Dawg Nation website and of the old app. Users simply want to quickly check the app for new news/developments while standing in line or while watching their kids at a playground, and the idea of digging for undated new content requires more work than competitor UGA sites. I highly recommend reordering content in the style of the old app and the current desktop site. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT WORK AND GO DAWGS! This is a simple fix.
