I got this app for finding peaks around me, but discovered by accident that it also tells you precisely when the sun and moon will be visible above a mountainous horizon - something I’ve been looking for without even knowing it! All sun/moon apps tell you when the they object will rise above the horizon without taking into account any geological features. I live in the Rocky Mountains and am surrounded by them so I would have to guess when the moon would be visible. I no longer have to guess! I can also pick a specific date, time, AND location to see where the sun or moon will be in the sky - it’s perfect! It doesn’t explicitly tell you when the moon will be full, but it DOES tell you the moon age, and it is always full at day 14. I love watching the moon, I even go on moonlight bicycle rides. Now I have all the info I need to know when to see it on my planned ride. Thanks!

New to it. It’s not easy to navigate, if your are unfamiliar with this type of app. However, it does seem like a good app and has lots of data. Four stars only because it’s not easily understood by someone not familiar with it. However, after some use, my rating might be a five star rating. It has some pretty good terrain maps and hybrid views. If you are interested in this type of app, I believe this would be a good app for you. It’s more comprehensive than I understand at this time. However, I just started using it. I think with some use, I will understand it better. Good app.

This app is awesome - and they seemed to have added new features which give you overpays of what the mountians are supposed to look like - so you can adjust to get PERFECT registration in the AR view. I was also surprised when it knew where the moon was - and even gave me an overview as to where it would be later on! An absolute MUST HAVE for hikers, mountaineers and sight-seers!!!!
