This app is great! I’ve only had it since yesterday and I’ve already used it twice! Some emojis can be open to interpretation, so I’m glad I can double check the meaning to make sure I’m saying what I want to...helps you avoid what could be an awkward situation!!! I had downloaded a similar app, but the way this one is laid out is much simpler and it’s also more informative! Great job to the developers!
Let me take just a moment to say I’m STUNNED that an app like this even NEEDS to exist. 🍎, SHAME 🔔! With that out of the way, I really like the solution this app provides! The “app” lets you just play with emojis. I love being able to filter down all the emojis until I find one I’m interested in and then getting to see a big version of it along with the name. Simple, I know, but I find the presentation pleasing. 👏 The other half of the package is a keyboard you can use system wide that gives you, listen to this... an emoji search box! 🤯 Nothing fancy here, just exactly what’s required. 👍 My only quibble is with the interface to put together multi emoji strings. On my iPhone 11 it was not obvious (to me) that you want to swipe left on the emoji info card; I just never saw it. On my iPad the cards are both visible so I was able to put it together. 🤦♂️ Having said all of that its really a minor issue that some kind of UI indicator or even just some instructions on the store page would “fix”. You can pay $.99 to get rid of the ads and I just wish that number was a dollar or two higher; this app fixes a huge pain point for me. 🙌👊 I would hope if you’re still reading this it’s only because you’re waiting for the app to download... 🤨
I find the lack of search capability for emojis frustrating and the predictive text replacement too unreliable. This simple but well designed app works as an iMessage app so I can easily search for emoji 🎉. I prefer it to Gboard since I find it too easy to accidentally flip between keyboards which is annoying. Thanks for creating the app!
