YouTV german TV, online video

This app has been amazing for our family. It is helping my young daughter learn German (I am teaching her too but having shows that she loves helps increase and solidify her vocabulary). We adults love it for our cooking shows and cultural shows. Even my 80+ mother uses it. I download shows that I think she might like and she’s figured out how to navigate. This app has been a huge +++++ in our family. We rarely watch anything auf Englisch anymore!!!

While YOUTV is a great way to watch German TV, -especially if you miss the old classics; I.,e. Tatort /Bella Block and other Krimi programs. Repeats are often, played on other channels, and the show you watched is repaired a week or two later, and are played all too often. Forget about the order of a part I, II, or III. Watching any series is [Banal] &often times difficult for follow up recordings. I subscribed for this service to see Germany’s sights and sounds; without the stupid commercials, I DO LOVE WATCHING THE SKIING AND SOCCER, and on the News- on some days we won’t get the news until 12 hours later. We have used YOUTV for three years now. It hasn’t improved at all? I would hope that someone figures out a better way to program shows that a viewer wants to watch?

I am so excited that I can watch German tv at no extra cost. I missed my German tv I used to have it but then the prices were to much for me to handle after all I don’t have time to watch that much TV do take full advantage of the price, so Thank you YOUTV for this it is spot on and so so great to watch German tv once again.
