Foundmi

I liked how the Foundmi had characters and ended up buying one. I hadn’t looked at the app review and that was my mistake. As of now I’ve had no connection issues with my Foundmi and phone. But like past reviews state, it only pages your phone if the app is running. If you exit out of the app you cant beep your phone. Which is a pretty big issue. 1) leaving up the app kills data usage and 2) if I loose my phone and I closed out of the app earlier, then it was pointless to get this in the first place. I honestly would have gotten a Tile as my friend has one and she’s had no issues with it. I still may return this and get one. We’ll see how they fix the app in the future. But for now, get a Tile.

It’s a great idea. And it does actually work BUT you have to constantly reconnect the device to Bluetooth! So for example, I lost my keys and wanted to “find it” but I wasn’t able to because it’s not connected. I know the keys were in my house so I still tried to connect it, but why would that work. To connect, you need to hold down a button on the actual device 😑. So moral of the story. If you are willing to constantly reconnect the thing go for it!

This app that should allow you access just doesn’t work, rendering the whole thing useless. When I first got this maybe end of 2016 or last year, it immediately worked & connected to my Foundmi, then I noticed about the end of 2017 the app would not connect to my device & I assumed it was bc I also had the app installed on my tablet & that was interfering with it, so I uninstalled it from tablet then forgot about the whole thing. I was just going thru one of my purse & found the little Foundmi again & was reminded to check if the app would work now. Absolutely nothing. Immediately get Error - something about not connecting to universe list. I can’t get it to do anything or detect my device. It won’t even let me reregister the device. As other reviews have said, this thing is crap now, they really need to fix their system or database or something. It’s completely useless.
