I have had the first DoorCam model since Dec. 2019, and the camera and app itself have worked ok. However, the remo+ support team is virtually nonexistent. The support pages on their website direct you to call or email; when you call the phone #, it plays an automated message which tells you to email them or go back to the web. I’ve been going in circles trying to resolve what should be a simple issue if their devices work as well as they claim (can’t re-connect my device after changing wifi networks). When I emailed, I was sent links to resources pertaining to the wrong product, TWICE; I scheduled a phone call which they agreed to, but never fulfilled. I can’t even find a way to delete my account, but thankfully have paused my cloud service at this time. These devices and app are not worth the time I’ve wasted to continue using them when I run into my first troubleshoot!!

FYI - this review is for REMO+ 3 - not 2. I would give app 1 star but camera 4 stars, so that's how I ended with 3 stars. I set up using no tools, only folded pieces of paper to level, as you would put folded paper under a short table leg. The view is perfect for my apartment. Camera provides 1080 resolution with good color. But the night vision rarely works. Yes, you do get the video. It's just grayed out, not color. My biggest complaint is you can only zoom in on live video and NOT on previous videos, which is when you would need it most. Also the push alerts never work. The app always disconnects. And just a pet peeve of mine, any time you save or delete a video, there's an extra step to hit "OK". I know that's minor but it's annoying and unnecessary. All that said, I have found this camera to be very useful, especially when someone knocks on my door. That was a completely blind spot before. And there are multiple settings for your individual needs. Hopefully the app will improve over time. Overall, it's a very clever product that I can use at my apartment, where I didn't have to get permission, because there was no alteration to property. When it works, it's good. I just hope the app gets better.

I just purchased this device this week and just installed it. Out of the box, the camera doorbell was very easy to install. I downloaded the app and was able to get the Wi-Fi set up quickly. However, after using it for the first few times, I don’t understand why in playback mode, I can’t adjust the view to be rectangular opposed to fisheye. I know the application has the capability, because it does it for regular camera view. Can you please set up this option to review recorded video in normal rectangular mode? The recent update has fix problems with deleting and application crash. So this is a great step forward. It seems you have a few more fixes and it will be great. I would like to be able to set the pre-roll of recorded video to a few more seconds. Also, add that feature to make recorded video rectangular as a standard option.
