This free app offers a clock, a stopwatch and a timer in a simple design. The compact mode is an additional feature that floats the clock on top of all other windows. It is perhaps not the most elegant app, but does all three jobs really well without overengineering. The developer is very responsive to suggestions – my recommendation to change the color of the title bar was reflected in an App Store update within a week.

Every night I turn this app on, rotate my iPhone XR to landscape, and put it on a wireless charging stand. The big numbers are perfect for my aging eyes to see with my glasses off. The app can be switched so your numbers are various colors. The brightness level is easily adjustable so it doesn’t illuminate the whole room. My alarm comes through and is easily switched off. I love this app.

Downloaded this app while traveling Needed a clock so my husband could check the time in the hotel room during the night. Its soft glow also made a great night light. I liked having the choice of three colors as well. Would also be great for anyone with low vision.
