The fact that so many books still name Tribe as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" video messager ever only tells you how far video messaging still is from becoming a serious art. Social media critics have long recognized that the greatest social media apps of all times are Facebook and MySpace, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Mobile game critics rank the highly controversial Angry Birds over classical mobile games who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Video messaging critics are still blinded by commercial success. Tribe sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Social media critics grow up using to a lot of social media music of the past, mobile game critics grow up playin a lot of mobile games of the past. Video messaging critics are often totally ignorant of the video messaging of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that Andrew Polk advertised anything worthy of being saved.

If you want something more personal than snapchat I would highly recommend this app. It feels like you're having real conversations rather than goofing off. Very quickly and within just a few weeks I've got almost my entire inner circle of friends using it. I communicate with it daily. You can save videos sent to you, or you can turn off that ability for others to do so if you wish. More updates and better things to come I'm sure! Already very impressed. Easy to get ahold of the team or message the CEO. I speak to him every once in a while with ideas or just saying hey. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - I would say get it and try it out for 2 weeks, give it at least that time. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

With the many messaging apps out today, another app just seems like overkill. The first thing I thought of is not another app. Well this is worth the download. Tribe takes messaging to another level. Their ability to add context into each message gives you an unique feel for who you are messaging. Things like weather, location and the amazing ability to to understand words and magically bring up "clickable links" is simply amazing. I am looking forward to getting my friends and associates on this to experience it.
