Uolo Notes - Instant Messaging

The app is very rudimentary and not user friendly. It has many bugs and issues that needs to be resolved urgently, like I keep getting notifications that there are important unread messages from school and when app is opened they are no such messages. Also when opened it takes a lot of time to update the messages and download them even on a 200Mbps connection. The app developers require to carry out major overhaul and updating to maintain its relevance else others will steal a march over them.

I have been using this app for an year now it was going smoothly but now school has sent weekly assignments for my son with an updated version for this app but when I open the uolo app it doesn’t show any updates. Hence unable to use the app. Plz provide solution for the app update

Updating review to remove issues which seem to have been fixed. 1. This seems to have been fixed. Earlier I wrote “Sends too many junk notifications for no reason. This hides important messages from the school.” 2. App is now much more stable. This is also fixed: “Opening a new message causes the app to exit. Need to reload every time.” 3. This issue seems to be fixed but in a suboptimal manner. To delete a message, you have to long press on it until the option appears. Why not use the same mechanism as iMessage? “Can not delete old messages without uninstalling the app.” Good to see the developer is not siting on their hands and are working to improve this app. It’s become very reliable and allows the school to communicate effectively without using foreign privacy violating systems like Facebook.
