World Cricket Championship 2

Gameplay is honestly really good. I like the mechanics of both the classic and pro controls. The cut scenes are nice, commentary is repetitive(to be expected) but still good, batting and bowling are easy to get the hang off and the game has pretty good difficulty scale. Where this game falls short, very short, is the sheer amount of ads. I get that the devs have to make money but it’s unbearable. I have had the app for years before the whole email log in stuff(I lost all my progress before that yay). There are ads everywhere, there are banner ads on the home menu, ads before a game, ads after every over. It’s very annoying and of course there is the bug with the ads that other reviewers have mentioned. You can’t even play offline anymore, which you could before. What if I want to play a match while on a plane? Nope. The game reeks of greed. To stop ads you can pay a fee. Cool, however that’s a subscription fee. Most other games just let you pay a one time no ad fee. I don’t know why that isn’t the case here. There’s more, I paid for the no ads but there are still ads! Got banner ads, ads every time i continue the tournament I already watched an ad for and ads after every over. To play a tournament you have to watch an ad. Which you have to do every time you start a new tournament. I’m sure there’s probably another subscription to unlock all tournaments but this game isn’t worth it. That about sums it up. Just isn’t worth the trouble if all the ads, uninstalled.

I love this game and the online rival section of it but off late I have been seeing my points get reset to zero after every game . I win the game and get 30 points and immediately go to 0 . I have been noticing this error the last 2 weeks . Also please consider the below suggestions 1) online rivals should be 2 overs instead of 1. Allows a bit more of game play and planning 2) option to save manually customized field settings 3) please cut down on the time taken for toss and the subsequent graphics . Almost 1.5 minutes are wasted for every 1 over game . So much so that the game time is lesser than the other unnecessary stuff .

This is good game but sometimes feels like it is biased towards the computer. For instance, the ball is inline when it is outside off for the computer for but not for me. Each individual player from each team like India, South Africa etc.., under my name should have individual records for each player and for the team. The player which is me in this case should have an opportunity to declare man of the match or series even in the hot events if possible. The celebration styles when the player hits a century should be designed differently when they hit double century or claims hat-trick etc..,. Should have an option to save the manual fields. The commentary is very boring needs a lot of improvement in that department. Not trying to be sexist but if there can be two options to play the game as men or women it would be nice to see. The hot events only show latest men’s game can the hot events upgrade to play series going on in women’s cricket too?Overall it is pretty good game and I like it very much.
