Have been playing about a year and love the challenge. But when I played today all my points were gone. Also my sign in name is not me. What gives?

Had I rated the original, I would have given it 5 stars. I HATE THE NEW VERSION!!! I got a new iPad so had to download the current version...it’s awful. I have counted on the prior version of this game for years to help distract me and let go of the craziness of my day. It has helped me sleep much better cuz I don’t go to bed still reviewing the day’s events. With the new version, if I’m stuck and can’t fairly easily work through it, I can’t switch to a new game. That slows me down and I return to reviewing my day, which defeats the entire purpose of the game for me. I’m done. It’s too frustrating now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE THE OLD VERSION AVAILABLE AGAIN!!! I’ll even PAY for it! And I NEVER pay for games!

It says to make longest words possible (does not say there is a letter limit ie the w. Solitaire, limit 10 letters, I played until this last iOS update [many apps are no longer compatible]. So when I use a wild card to spell “paranormality”, it allows me to stack letters until I try to slide y over, of which it won’t allow. So now, I’m stuck trying to make another word using the wild card letter I selected to spell “paranormality”! Sometimes it allows me to spell 10, 11, 12 letter words & sometimes it doesn’t & it disallows the word only when you get ready to place the last letter. (And yes, paranormality is a word).
