Bible Memory by MemLok

I purchased the $30 upgrade and it is not being installed on my phone. I have not been able to make use of this upgrade. I reached out for a refund so that I could re-attempt the upgrade and have been denied the refund. I tried to ask for additional help and reconsideration of the refund so that I could re-attempt. The status is there is no refund and the decision is final. I find this to be especially unfortunate given the subject matter of what I'm trying to obtain. My mom recently passed away, and I was trying to establish memory of verses that will help me and my family move through this time. and I'm unable to do so with this application and cannot recommend this application, if what happened to me will happen to other people. I can't give this a high degree of recommendation at this time as hope that this will change in the future. Until then I'll be seeking memory verse skill building with another application. I'm sad for the outcome, but I will continue to check back periodically to see if I'll ever get the forever edition I was charged for.

If you are not blessed with a photographic memory, and become frustrated because you can’t recall the text and/or the location of a Bible scripture - I found this app to be a help for me! The very clever graphics associated with each Bible verse help in placing the words into my long term memory. There is also a feature allowing the user to generate your own graphical memory pictorials from a graphical library as well. Last but by no means least there are short insightful biblically sound messages from the creator of this app. In this world of so much uncertainty, we need to carry the powerful, perfect, and eternally true word of God. Turning 70 this year and focused on finishing my race well. Started memorizing scripture in my 20s when my brother gave me a copy of Jerry Lucas 's "Remember The Word" which creatively linked verse-words with"sounds like" pictures. The goofy pictures captured my kids attention and my memory. PICTURES WORK. Our 7 kids endured Dad reviewing "the Matthew pictures" each morning through their homeschool years. When they left home...they knew Matthew and they know Jesus! PICTURES WORK. My 22nd grandchild graced us in February, 2021. I'm now using Bible Memory and Bible Memory for Kids to plant the truth as deep as I can in their heads/hearts before I go to my reward. So why am I using Memlok?Bible Memory is the app for me but I find it too complex for a younger child. BM for Kids is cute at first but weak in tools to keep track of kid's progress until they can handle the more complex Bible Memory. I'm am seriously looking at Memlok for that younger middle ground app. Memlok allows me to make my own pictures. I can track how often the kids learn new verses and review their older ones. Tracking is important to me because I bribe them to keep adding verses. (Investing in our futures) Memlok's format is easy to jump into yet deep with ready-made pictures and a topical index. Six games to practice getting the verse down is a plus. I'm rambling on a if I really love this stuff. I DO and PICTURES WORK. I'll close with this ...
