Gideon Bible App

This app is way better than I expected. A friend at church was handing out business cards that advertised the app so I installed it to see what it was like. I had no idea it had audio so that was a plus. But when I started listening, it was like listening to a play. All the Bible characters are “played” by a different voice and there’s background noises, crowds, etc. The Bible has come alive for me in a whole different way. I listen to it at night in bed before I fall asleep. Sometimes it’s soothing, but sometimes it’s like watching an exciting action movie and I think about it for awhile before I can fall asleep! 😄 I never write reviews, but I love this app! Update: This app won’t play on my iPad anymore. I get a screen that says “No content available”. I can still use it on my iPhone and it works great. I’ve tried reinstalling it twice with no luck on the iPad. Another update: Many Bible versions show in the available list, but most of them say “Forbidden” when you choose them. Maybe just don’t show them in the list if you aren’t really going to offer them. I even tried looking for a place to upgrade by paying, but there’s no place to do that. I’m now disappointed because I really want to use the NSV. I’ll probably just go back to my regular Bible for daily reading.

When I first Downloaded The App. I did not know what I was getting into. When I signed up and got to the main screen I Was excited to look through the app. I got to my scripture, picked out my version and language. And then that was it. I was hooked. Now I use the app to read, And me and The Lord have a Good time because he shows me things. It’s so fun highlighting important Key verses that speak to my spirt. This app Deserves More then Just Five Stars. I Truly can Carry My Gideon Bible now in my Pocket and on the Go and I think that is awesome. I do have my pocket Gideon New Testament Bible That I keep with me and I love to read it and high light In it and well. And Just the same Jesus reveals and shows me things in that little Orange Bible and I just love it so much. Reading The Word of God is better then reading any other Book out there in this World. It’s the only book that really speaks to you and changes you and just fills you with joy and love. And He speaks Through it. He is a Mighty Wonderfull and Carrying God. There is No one Better then Jesus! Thank You So much Gideon’s You Guys keep on keeping it On. You are a Blessing: you have Been a blessing to me and I just want Y’all to know and Y’all’s Team!

Friends of Gideons has the Gideon New Testaments to give along with a tract card with the Gideon Bible App download. This is a great evangelism resource. When I first accepted Jesus and was seeking Him I spent much time at first also reading the Bible on a Bible App. I feel like this is a very great and powerful evangelism resource to give the KJV New Testaments along with the Bible app tract card. You can have access to these very powerful evangelism resources with a $10 monthly commitment or $120 one time donation which is understandable because these resources cost a lot to make and being that Gideon International is ministering with mostly tangible resources like giving out Bibles and other resources and a lot of outreach with them, the financial support is needed for them and I’m glad to support Gideon International and be able to gain access to these extra powerful evangelism resources. Preaching the Word of God is great, and so is handing someone the gospel for Jesus to preach directly to them and for them to be able to go to Him in the pages and come to know Him personally. Thank you very much to Gideons for all of the great resources that help us in serving our Lord Jesus.
