Insite Gold

I have had a paradox alarm for many years and switched from the previous paradox app to this app when it became mandatory. I would have rated the app and it’s ability to remotely operate the paradox alarm as 8 or 9 out of 10. In December 2021 the swan severs crashed and pretty much since then the app is no longer viable. Despite getting an installer out, updating firmware on the IP module and trying a few other fixes the app is just not reliable. You sometimes struggle to access the system remotely or simply cannot get in at all. This is not an option when it you are talking about accessing your house security remotely. The app makes the user experience intolerable and I switched to another provider a few months back and the difference is chalk and cheese. Disappointing that something that worked became no longer useable.

Since the 4th December I am no longer receiving push notifications for either of my two sites (home and business). I switch on push notifications in the app settings but if I exit the site and then go back in notifications are off again! Notifications are on in my phone settings for Insite Gold. Please help!!!

The connection via Swan is fine working. There is a problem of selecting the PGM for the main panel direct access. To select a PGM on the iOs, I have to select the next lower PGM. Sometime it works sometime not. An unknown PGM1 is showing on the main panel, I cannot deselect this one. The last update has not solved this problem. I just reading other user comments. I’m very happy with the system and the App. My 192 panel manage not only the security, but also the inside and outside lights and the pool and fishponds pumps. Even true a poor internet connection I can control the system and I like the informations about the status. JPB Namibia
