Inside Wire

This is incredibly cool, and I’m so glad this program exists!! I would really love to be able to play the recent/past programs listed on the recents tab. Also, I’d give extra stars if I could since this app doesn’t collect data.

I heard an interview on NPR about this station, and the aims and goals of this station were impressive. I downloaded the app and gave it a listen. I’m so glad I did, as I got the opportunity to listen to an interview between incarcerated people and the leadership in the prison and the change their committed to enacting. As someone who has worked in and volunteered in various US prisons, it was a breathe of fresh air. Best of luck to all those involved with this station and to those willing to flip the script for better outcomes. I’ll keep listening!

This has to be one of the smartest things Colorado’s DOC has done to help prisoners look forward to something positive that they can go to when they get out. ANY program that DOC sets up to better the inmates and prepare them for the streets is a win win in my book. This download is a must
