ikotMNL Mobile App

It’s more of a marketing tool full of ads than an actual commuter app. I hope there will be ways go report a stalled train or stop of operation as I am currently writing this report while we are stationary between Balintawak and Monumento for nearly 1 hour. Praying someday this app will be like Waze where users can report realtime events going on along the line…. Or perhaps the people who made the app intentionally left that out to prevent people from knowing what is actually happening and cover up necessary information with useless ads. I may just keep this app on my phone to take up some memory. Very disappointing.

I don’t always take LRT-1 so it’s easy to get lost especially when you’re not familiar with all their 20 stations. Good thing we now have ikotMNL app so it helps people like me to easily find my way and get to my destination when I ride LRT-1! The train schedule, fare information and crowd monitoring features and tourist spot suggestions are so helpful! Love this app!

Hey LRT! It’s so nice that you have an app now. Unfortunately, im having a little trouble with it. The back button is not working, and the train status is not updated. Hence, it’s not so useful. Hope you can work on this. Thanks! More power!
