iGarden USA - Gardening Helper

Not perfect but workable. The more I work with it the better it gets, I like the aspect that you can add things to the database and modify them.

The structure is there but not much data base. A fraction of what it should be for the price. I took a chance and bought this. The downfall of apps. You never know really what your getting. They make you make your own data base so you do the work of filling it out. Looks like they also abandoned this app as the last update was a year ago. Shame. Don't waste your money.

This is a cool app and I bought it partly to fund its improvement. Thoughts: I'd love more functionality in the my garden tab- ability to click on a listing and view the info from there and not have to go back to the seeds tab and scroll through the whole list, the notes feature integrated so that I can take notes on a specific variety or where I put it, ability to edit days to germination in my garden to reflect varietal differences. I'd like some way to represent what was started inside and what was direct seeded. Some items (strawberry, onion, garlic and others) need the option of seed or bulb start. While I primarily do veggies, it would be nice to see some flowers in there. Push alerts for frost? A way to access others' custom input seeds or add them to the database. If I enter all the info on 5 Color Silverbeet, there's no reason someone else should have to do all that work too. Seed saving tips? I look forward to seeing what emerges.
