If you're trying to learn holding patterns, save your $6 and try a different app. This one teaches only one weird method of determining the entry, although there are several widely-used methods. Worst of all, the app doesn't give you the ATC clearance like you will hear in flight. It gives you the inbound course - ATC will give you the radial to hold on, which is your outbound course. The pilot will need to determine the inbound course. Absolutely overpriced and incomplete. Save your money and try the other app out there.

So far so good with regards using the app for practice. I’m sure it is going to be of great assistance. However I have 2 different iPads purchased for separate reasons. A small on for use in the aircraft and a larger one for use at home. Is there some way the app can be used on both without a second purchase? Even ForeFlight allows this feature. Thanks for your consideration.
