I Say: Learn 500 Sight Words

This app makes our everyday sight word practice fun. My son likes to say the words out loud and enjoys the interactive letters. Since he is able to hear the word whenever he needs help he is really been able to work on his own. The words are organized in small sets and it is easy to keep track of words where he used help. Very focused and fun app. Totally recommended.

This app allows the user to practice 250 sight words. The words are grouped into sets of 5. The letters fall/tumble down to the lines and form a word. The user taps the mic icon to say the word. When the user responds correctly, the letters celebrate and tumble to the bottom of the screen. Once all words are completed in the set, the letters fall asleep, float about the screen, and the user may pop them with a tap of a finger. I recommend this app because it presents sight words in small chunks and provides fun interactions.
