Hotel Elevator: Doorman Mania

I was playing the game it’s a fun game it’s addicting however, I made two purchases for coins one at 1.99 and the piggy bank at 2.99 and I never received either set of coins but the money was taken from y account. I thought maybe the app needed to be refreshed so I closed it and opened it back up still on level 80 with 80 coins and I made two purchases of coins and I still after everything was successfully done have not received the coins. I tried to get a refund and they denied me saying no and really all I want is my coins. Because I want to keep playing the game. I would have given 5 stars but I can’t because taking my money and not giving me my coins wasn’t fair.

It’s a fun little game, but very short and ad heavy. There are not many hotels and the highest floor level is 8. It begins to feel a bit redundant. The ads are frequent even when you skip the offer to watch for extra in-game currency. That’s the other thing, the option to skip watching extra ads is placed in a way you will end up clicking to watch one more often than not. There is an option to go ad free for $1.99. Also one for VIP which is $5.99 weekly. The problem is why would you you? The levels/hotels just repeat. I don’t think there are more than 8 or 9 hotels. There are outfits you can purchase or watch videos for, but again, why would I? It doesn’t impact the game and you’re still looping the same hotels/levels again and again. There is a lot that could be done to make this a truly charming app. Outfits could have perks. Hotels could open up new/secret floors with certain achievements. Heck, just add more hotels in general. There could be a hotel manager you have to dodge, or special guests that speed up or slow down the elevator. Lots of potential to keep it engaging. For now it’s one of those couple days of mindless fun type of things. I hope to see improvements. For now it’s getting archived.

When I was around 4 the Nice Department stores had elevators that were operated by people. They would slide a metal gate before the doors closed. Then up we went, when we got to our floor the sensation of the elevator stopping made your stomach go up. Well at 4 that’s how it felt to me. I decided that day that I wanted to be an elevator operator. That was in 1961. Then shortly after that the elevators went by themselves 😢. So onto my review, this game is fun but I wish there were more floors, maybe as the game progresses there will be at least 8 more floors. So now I’m the elevator operator. So I get to fulfill my Fantasy. It’s really a cute game.
