Horse Hotel - care for horses

Dear Tivola Team, I enjoy playing this game, and I especially like how you don’t have to wait real time for anything, all you have to do is pass a night in-game. The thing that bothers me, however, is that the animation is choppy. The horses move in a jerky, twitchy manner that is not at all like a real horse. The tack that is on the horses moves with it, and it looks very funky. I also think that the animation of the rider during vaulting is kind of weird. I also think that you could make it so that you don’t have to buy as much. When I played it on the Kindle Fire, I didn’t need to buy anything. It came with all the breeds. When I graduated to an iPad, I suddenly saw all of the horse colors in the store for actual money. Just disappointed about that. Another thing is something that has already been said many times by other reviews, but I think that you might want to change some of your treats. Why would you feed a horse bread? Just saying, that might set a bad example to young people and/or people not experienced with horses. What if someone started feeding their horse bread in real life? I do enjoy playing the game, I just think it needs some work. The animation, realism, and availability of certain in-game things should be focused on, in my, and many others’ opinions. Firstly, this game is good for kids. My little sister is entertained by it and that makes me happy. But as an equestrian, I noticed a few odd things. I am a western rider, and the first thing that I noticed was when my little sister was doing “dressage”, the horse had a Western saddle and an English bridle on! And also, dressage isn’t a Western event! Bowing is not a dressage move either! Same goes with show jumping. The horse also made movements a horse can’t make. Like prolonged rearing while seeming to hover backwards!! Seriously tivola?? And also, some of the treats in the game are bad for horses in real life! And to top it all off, the game makes you use a body brush on the horse’s face when you groom it. Brushing a horse’s face with a hard bristle brush can damage it! Im disappointed that tivola uses hardly any equestrian knowledge in their game. I was hoping that the game would teach my sister about caring for horses and REAL horse facts. I was wrong! Don’t download for educational purposes!

I really enjoy this game it's great for when I'm bored and need something to do but some things in the game keep bothering me. As an equestrian I got quite disturbed when I realized all the English activities in the game are done in western.. Not to mention even when riding western there is no saddle pad and no full noseband. How does it stay on and what's the purpose?! That leads us to the activities. I would like to see a lunge line on the horse while lunging. Maybe you being the person holding the lung line in the middle of the arena and controlling the horse there? Just a more realistic idea. I just don't see the horse running in a perfect circle without someone or something directing him/her. Next is dressage. I can't help but cringe at the site of what the game says is dressage. HORSES DON'T REAR AND BACK UP WHEN DOING DRESSAGE! Nor run in a circle the whole time. What would be really fun for dressage is first of all, riding ENGLISH. And actually have the letters on the area walls and doing real dressage patterns. Now that would be fun AND educational! And now the jumping.. Please make an actual arena with a course. In real life horses don't jump like 8 jumps In a straight line. They do a course. Last part (I think) Is the stable. A cool idea is to first, have feed buckets and second Maybe have horses need different kind of feeds instead of generic oats. The idea of actually mucking stalls is great too. Not just stomping in into the ground and getting fresh straw out of it. Well that's all for now. Please note this is jut some ideas to make the game more realistic and enjoyable. I don't mean to discourage the makers of the game or make them mad at me either. I was just giving an honest (and long) review!
