It would be fun to clean up the areas but there are a lot of flaws. First, the areas auto complete far too quickly before youโre done for it to be satisfying. Second the cut scenes do not show the area you decorated and you cannot go back and see the area you decorated to make it feel meaningful. Third and worst of allโฆ the ads. I am the kind of person who buys ad free given the opportunity. This game is SO greedy. You cannot fix the entire area without watching ads, even on ad free. For example a broken sink in the kitchen will remain broken unless you watch an ad to fix it. You also must watch ads to have any choices in the decor at all. But I guess in the end it doesnโt matter because even if you watch the ads the final scene, as said before, doesnโt show what you chose for the room! If you play donโt waste your money buying ad free. To the devs, please make it possible to at least go back and view your completed rooms. The option to change an item youโve already picked would be nice too. And reallyโฆ the whole room should be able to be fixed just by playing the game.
I read the reviews and most of them said that there would be a lot of adds but I have been playing for 5 minutes straight and there has only been two or three adds. It is very relaxing, and I am calm down by the in the house and the process because I think Iโm actually doing it.
Do you like ads and little snippets of janky gameplay in between? Then this is the game for you! You canโt even tab out of the app for a second without being bombarded by an advertisement. If one of your selling points for your No Ads micro-transaction has to be being able to actually play the game, (because there are some portions of the game where you must watch an ad to continue forward, and Iโm not talking about between-level advertisements, I mean โyou must click this button that forces you into a rewarded ad so you canโt skip itโ advertisements,) then there was definitely a lapse in judgement somewhere. The game in and of itself is incredibly janky, controls poorly even for a mobile game, and lacks any real depth other than trying to stick it to other games using a similar storyline in their advertising. The sprites are inconsistent, there are constant pop-ups that lead to ads if you try to close them, and it makes playing the game incredibly difficult. Not to mention either the lack of sound, or the sound cutting out completely. If youโre prone to headaches, or have somewhere to be in less than 15 minutes, I would suggest finding a different game to spend time with. (Edit: Iโm assuming having 2 rooms be inaccessible is either a bug, or part of that dastardly paywall. The game does nothing with the story, if you crash or suddenly exit out of the game, you must start over from the very janky beginning of whatever youโre doing, i.e. if you were working on the bathtub in the bathroom, and your app suddenly crashes or refreshes when you tab out, you have to start the process all over again, including any ads you have watched for a reward. The popups also appear to be poorly translated to English, supposedly because this is a game made somewhere else. Still donโt recommend, gameplay is still annoying, and ads are overbearing. And, importantly, there was bo need to use โASMRโ in the game name, as the game actually lacks any ASMR elements, and also decreases in quality the longer you play.)
