Halloween Chronicles: The Door

One of the BEST Domini games ever made!!! I’m blown away by the creativity and passion that went into this one. You can tell they had fun making it. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Once again, this game has the exact same storyline as every other Domini game; an evil entity is stealing life force from humans to feed its thirst for power/immortality. You need new storylines. This one is banal and overly used. In addition, we see the same inventory usage time and time again. We are once more fanning smoke (5 times in this game), digging, raking through leaves, using gloves to move thorns aside, and utilizing buttons to remove screws. Don’t you have any imagination? This game also had an issue with touchscreen sensitivity (slight), but it caused me to have to skip a couple of mini-games. The match-3 alternative tiles barely lit up. However, it still ran way better than Frost Curse. There was no problem with the collectibles. The graphics were gorgeous and the general gameplay was quite enjoyable. The game seemed a bit brief, inclusive of the bonus adventure. My review will remain at 4 stars for the touchscreen sensitivity issues and for a general lack of innovation. Let’s see something unusual for a change. Truth be told, Elephant’s Halloween game had better quality assurance and was way more original and exciting to play.

this game was a pleasure to play. it kept me entertained. had a great storyline and amazing graphics. i took off 1 star because the match 3 won’t highlight to show what items are left on board still needed to be cleared. I still played the match 3 most of the time because i’m not into silhouette or finding pairs hidden objects. otherwise this game would definitely be a 4.5.
