Guided Meditation: Deep Sleep

The app is so simple I love it. Just open and there’s a list of different music and sounds. Such as “daylight” or “soft piano” and nature sounds. The simplicity is awesome. No confusion and is right to the point. I suggest this to everyone practicing meditation. It works outside the app as well. You do not need to have the app open to still listen. Such a great lightweight tool. Thank you developers.

This is a simple app, nothing too fancy. There is a variety of options from a lake to a convent, and as a 'convent' option implies, some are more... odd than others :) Within each sound you can set a timer (not sure why one reviewer said there wasn't) and adjust a background sound. For example, my favorite is Inspirational which sounds like rain. Within that is a light chime (more a wind chime) that you can adjust the volume on, from no chime at all to it being the main focus. Very cool during a meditation, especially with headphones on. I've been using it for a few months and enjoy it :)

This app offers a variety of soothing sounds for meditation. My favorite is the lake music, though I hear a pop each time the loop repeats. There are no settings. There is no timer. I tried adjusting the length of the playback but it never seems to move position, so I finish my meditation and the recording shows it still has the same amount of playback left. A timer with a soft chime or gong at the end would be wonderful! There are lots and lots of ads, some of which will take up the full screen and you have to wait until the little "x" shows up at the top to clear it. Most of the time this isn't a problem because you are meditating. It was a little unnerving the first time it happened, though. Very basic app. Not bad!
