I needed a voice countdown timer and this is perfect for my needs.I use it to assign a specific timeline so that he knows when I expect my autistic son to put on specific articles of clothing in the morning.He's easily distracted and I've found that countdowns help him with tasks.If I could change anything I would just add the ability to customize (record) an intro and ending message for each timer.
