You have to connect a card and then also add money to a wallet. The scanning feature didn’t work great to be able to identify which scooter was which. I’ve used others that were much more user friendly but it’s the only me available in Waco so you get what you get and don’t throw a fit.
⭐️ 1 Star Review: Beware — This Company Is a Scam! Go Cruise is a total scam. I was overcharged for my ride — their app wouldn’t let me end the trip, and I ended up being billed $21 for what should have been a $5 ride. To make matters worse, there’s absolutely no way to reach their customer support. They don’t respond, and there’s no proper contact option in the app. This company is taking advantage of people and needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Save yourself the frustration and do not download this app. They’re scamming people out of their hard-earned money.
Do not download this app and fall for their scam. I was visiting Daytona Beach and wanted to rent one of their scooters place along the boardwalk. There were a couple in my vicinity and neuter was functioning. They seemed to be in disrepair. The kicker is that they require you to fund the app in order to attempt to rent a scooter. After funding the app, I tried to rent one and the scooters or the app or both did not function. The next day I tried to get a refund as I was unable to use the scooters and any contact information is completely unavailable. There is nothing anywhere that clearly states some sort of customer service or contact information that is valid. You could try to get a refund via the app, but that does not work. I finally found a phone number via a Google search, but they only jerked around and did not refund me. After over two weeks of trying to resolve it, I had to get the charge reversed. Not sure who runs this operation, but this seems like a big scam. Apple, do a better job at vetting and reviewing these “companies”.
