Giki Zero

I love this app (although I may be biased). Clean interface and insightful questions less to real actionable steps to allow anyone to see how they can cut carbon. The graphics are eye-catching and the layout is user friendly; I’d encourage anyone and everyone to download and see if they can do more to help the planet! I particularly like the “climate clock” feature —> apparently, if everyone lived like me, we’d only have 4 years until the climate clock runs out! Yikes! I better take more action… Thanks Giki!

But who knows huh? I can’t sign up as it’s so buggy when it switches to the website. Why can’t I sign up in app? It never goes through and hangs. Managed to sign up on website via browser and now it won’t log in on the app Just hangs. Why can’t we use this app without logging in? Would be much better for users if they could actually see the benefit to your app before you start farming their data from the offset. Have more respect for potential users and allow them to skip reg and check out the apps features FIRST!

I never really knew where to start with cutting my carbon as all of the ‘common sense’ steps I felt was doing (turning off lights, not wasting water etc.) but Giki has helped me take more effective steps such as swapping to a bank that doesn’t support fossil fuel projects that I wouldn’t have instantly thought of. Having a tracker of my carbon score has also been really helpful in keeping me on track and motivated to take even more steps. Would totally recommend for someone looking to live more sustainably!
