Ghost: Social Post Writer

The new update to Ghost is honestly kind of insane. I used to sit there way too long thinking “ok what do I even post today” and half the time I’d just close the app and do nothing. Now I open Ghost and it literally tells me what to post every day! Most days I just post it as-is, sometimes I tweak a line, but either way the thinking is done. It also actually sounds like me, which I didn’t expect at all! Posting feels easy now instead of annoying. If you know you should be posting but always get stuck, this update is a game changer.

I’ve been using this app for about a month now and I’m really liking all of the features included within it. I can bold, italicize, change font & sizing and one of the best features is it’s perfect line-break spacing. It’s basically all you’ll need for a caption writer. What I don’t like is that they want a subscription fee. I completely understand that in the long haul, it must be good to have continued income from users. But they should also add one more option to BUYOUT at one-time price of $60-$70. I’ve paid this much for other apps and I just write it off as a business expense. But what I don’t want is a continuous charge for me to monitor over the years. As IG changes and adds more features, they may incorporate better caption writing options and that would place this as obsolete as users cancel their subscription. At least with a one-time payout, they would have made 2 years worth of income before that happens. Anyhow, that’s just my 2 cents. I like the app. I recommend it. I still use it for the spacing and then use another Free app for the Font/Bold options. Good functionality though 😊

I HATE HATE HATE HATE that there is no option to save the content you just spent what feels like forever constructing information about your business all just to not be saved and erased. This has happened to me multiple times and every time it gets me more and more upset. I love this app for the exception of not having that. I would hate to delete it and try something else, so I’ll wait to see if there will be an update made to have the option of saving! I don’t want to be the person that attached a 5 star review with a comment that’s not necessary a positive or good one. I would love to put 5 stars, however; like i said, the countless times this has happened to me where all of my information I had written had been deleted has really hit a nerve. For now my review stands, I hope I can change it to a 5 star very very soon! Thanks.
