So starting off getting the app and getting started is no big deal however what they have you do is you have to buy something from within their store using the advance that they give you and then the remaining amount that you were left with is what you get to cash out but what they do to trick you is they don’t let you put your card on there And even if you do get your card on there, they don’t allow you to cash out they have you link your bank details and information personal things that ensure success meanwhile you are still unable to send money there also so being unable to add a card and then even if you did add a card, be unable to send the funds to your bank account that they have on file they do not get back to you when you try to reach them with support. It is just an AI bought and then also they still charge the full amount plus some interest when they go to repay the advance. And they don’t even use the advance that they gave you. They just take it out your account. This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used and no, I’m not saying that because I only had a couple pennies and I used it. No, I’m saying that because I’ve been in situations to where life just happens, but to be used and tricked and played with from an app is just outrageous and hopefully no one makes that same mistake!! Also they are having employees download and rate the app beware of fake reviews don’t believe me? Just read them!!
Got an email from their service saying approved for an advance (not a pre-approval but it actual approval with a specified dollar route down to the penny). The option to advance. It never showed up in my account even after purchasing their membership. It took their support three days to correct it so that it showed available by account. Even still, when I tried to use their instant feature that they advertised, it showed no options so I reached back out to support who informed me that it doesn’t work with all banks. I would maybe understand that if I used an obscure online or small local bank, but being that I use a large brick-and-mortar bank with over 1,100 branches spread across 11 states, I’d say that’s far from the case. Further, their shady practice of asking me to rate my experience before I even got an answer much less a resolution that I can only assume was an attempt to mitigate me making this complaint now that everything‘s been finalized. All in all I’ve tried a lot of these apps, and I have to say this would rates the lowest. You’re better off, going with their competitors. Dave, Bridget, Albert, Empower, Cleo, and Cash-App have all given me a far better experience in the past. At least they actually deliver what they promise and in a timely fashion. I tried this one because it was recommended to me and and gotta say I could not be more disappointed.
After I thought that I have downloaded all of the payday loan, or cash advance apps. I found this one which I never heard of. The first time I used it was pretty simple but then overtime it kind of got frustrating and every time I needed to request access I had to contact support. The downside of this is that everything is linked to a bank account and not a card so the processing time for you to have access to the money you sometimes have to wait. I also do not like the process to pay back the funds. It’s also linked through a bank account and it’s not instant. It also says you can link up an account through Venmo or cash app or PayPal, but it doesn’t really make sense when you can only see the routing and account number from the Gerald side. I think a recommendation for this app would be an instant transfer and more use of debit cards.
