Sorta nit-picky, sorta not : gonna go out on a limb and say the reel title does not need to be bigger than the transport buttons.. because you know.. you actually need to interact with the transport buttons. But if that's the worst thing i've got to say (which it currently is) then it's a pretty good app. A means to make custom ui skins would be cool..
I’ve got to say when it comes to vsts coming close to an actual tape machine this one is by far the best one I have come across! Instantly got to routing different stems I have to the tracks for mixing and the insert effects are amazing.
This app unlocks things creatively. Being able to stick to the old ways of just getting it right on tape but with the convenience of just using your phone is a very big deal for songwriters. Also the artifacts are spot on and sound just like tape, I’ve used tape for years and having the ability to dial your ideal lofi settings is incredible
