Fuel MPG & Vehicle Expense Log

Well I really don’t know where to start because there is so much good to say! I’ve used this app for quite awhile with complete satisfaction; however, it was recently redone and I had problems. Enter: Dennis Donner, the hero of the story! I messaged him regarding my problem, and he very quickly replied. He told me what to do, and I tried but was not successful. So I messaged him again and he certainly came through! He sent me step by step numbered directions, which were easy to follow. I had already messed up things on my end, so he told me how to export my “mess” to him and said he would fix it…AND HE DID! Simply AMAZING customer service! Love this app!!

I have had this app for many years and have enjoyed its usefulness. I’m a bit of a stats junkie, so I loved watching years of price changes and mileage variations on trips and in the city. I recently had an issue with the upgrade and reported it thinking I would not get a response. Quite the opposite. The developer worked very closely with me for a few days to make sure the app was working properly and that I didn’t lose any prior history. Dennis just made me love the app even more. This is a great app for anyone wanting to track vehicle costs. This includes maintenance as well as fuel. You can even get an overview of total vehicle expenses. It has also helped me track down when parts had been replaced or repaired so I knew if work was needed. I highly recommend this app.

I just started using the app and had to fumble a bit to figure out how to use it. Now that have kind of figured it out, I will continue using it. It's handy. But, I have some requests: 1. I need to be able to scan or take a pic of my car receipts for gas AND maintenance/repairs, so I can have all my car expenses in the same place (and so I can get rid of all the darned hardcopy receipts I keep). Would it be possible for you to add that feature? 2. My husband and I both buy gas and often the receipts disappear before I can enter the data. I am more likely to enter the data than my husband is, but he might take a pic of the receipt after writing the odometer reading on it. It would be wonderful if we could each have the app on our phones, share an account, and sync the data. That way I'd have all the receipts at my fingertips to use for entering the data even if I didn't get the receipt myself. I guess the optimal situation would be for the app to scan the receipts, pull the relevant data from the receipt, and record it in a database. My own personal assistant! The only thing I REALLY don't like is having to twirl the little dials to select every single number in the odometer reading. There's got to be another way!! Even if you left the last reading in the app for me and I had to update it, that would be better.
