Free Plant Identifier

I, at first, thought do I need a lifetime subscription to this app? The answer is unequivocally yes. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I find myself pulling over if I see a plant that looks nice, but I may want to add to my garden, but don’t know what it is. I have a catalogue now of all of the plants in my garden, and I can easily look them up and get tips or understand what to plant next to them. It’s wonderful.

I really do not like to download an app that says free and then charges you a weekly amount when it’s all downloaded especially for something that I don’t use very often, but it was easier just to leave it then to take it off and download it again when needed. I’m lucky if I use the app four times a year, but I had a plant that started to die so I decided to use it to see what I could do to fix it and of course it won’t let me on now. It’s very frustrating when all this time you’re paying for something and then you go to use it and it says you have to come back later. Is something being worked on or what I don’t know. I’m thinking about just canceling it and maybe going to another app.

By requiring multiple images to render diagnosis, I believe this app is actually now more accurate than the others I tried which have ridiculous huge price tags. I had gotten fed up with this app recently because after several months, all of sudden it no longer worked as it used to. But I complained and the company responded. The app had been updated. The version I purchased operated off of one camera snap, not 4. I’ve used this updated version now to address several new issues in my garden and this updated version is actually a whole lot better than the version I purchased initially. Thank you for addressing my concerns.
