Fonetti

Fonetti has been amazing this summer for my daughter between reception and year 1. She has loved the independence of choosing her own books and there is a great selection of fiction and also books that introduce facts and learning. Her reading has improved with absolutely no pressure from us and this has been recognised at school already. A great way of some iPad time both with supervision and independently while I was reading to her younger sister. Fantastic app! Thank you!

This app has been so good for my daughter, she really enjoys using it and the positive response that she gets when she gets things right is really good for her self-esteem. It is really helpful because if your child reads a word wrong they can tap the word and it tells them the right pronunciation. My daughter loves all the different books that are available and the way that she can progress through the different stages. It makes reading time fun and not seem like a chore.

Fonetti is amazing. Our children have been using it since their school was closed because of Corona, and I have the impression they have definitely progressed in their reading ability as a result. The app is very clever, it actually listens to their little voices and knows how well they are reading, and they can click on words they don’t know. My little ones (4&6) are already a little too obsessed with my iPad, so it’s great that there is an app that is both fun and educational. Highly recommended! And the books are free too, though I am not sure for how long.
